On June 18, 2006 Olga Martinez, the President and CEO of Allright Diversified Services suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm which required emergency brain surgery. 

A brain aneurysm is a weak bulging spot on the wall of a brain artery, like a thin balloon. Aneurysms form silently from wear and tear on arteries possibly from injury, infections, or inherited tendency. Martinez was in excellent health.

When an aneurysm ruptures, it causes bleeding into a compartment surrounding the brain called subarachnoid space. The bleeding may cause brain damage with paralysis or coma. Statistically 50% of people will die within minutes of a hemorrhage, of the 50% who live, half will suffer delayed death or become paralyzed.

Within a matter of hours of detection, Martinez was flown by medical-helicopter to UC Davis in Northern CA (approx. 3 hours away, driving time) from Fresno, CA given no brain surgeries for such emergencies were performed at local area hospitals. Miraculously, Martinez recovered from this life altering event with a new and refreshed sense of direction in life and in business.
