Project Title: Pittsburg Armory Modernization

This facility underwent a complete renovation of the kitchen, bathrooms, main assembly hall, offices, and landscape. Additional rooms such as offices and a new vault were added to comfortably accommodate the growing number of troops and their equipment. A memorial courtyard was also built on the west side of the armory. New electrical and HVAC systems were installed to increase efficiency. Project Title: Lead and Asbestos Abatement IDIQ
Location: Travis Air Force Base Travis, California
Contracting Agency: Department of the Air Force
Allright Diversified Services, Inc. currently holds an IDIQ for abatement at Travis Air Force Base. We have received numerous task orders for asbestos abatement, mold abatement and lead based paint abatement. When the facility has a requirement for remediation services, ADSI is the go to contractor. Working closely with the client, constant communication and planning, Allright Diversified Services, Inc. has been successful in completing projects without impacting base activities.
Project Title: Building 1301 HVAC Upgrade
Location: Travis Air Force Base Travis, California
Contracting Agency: Department of the Air Force
The purpose of this contract was to upgrade the existing HVAC system at the Base Dining Hall. The present HVAC system was insufficient for the current use of the building. Due to insufficient return air flow, space became over-pressurized and prevented the proper cooling supply air from flowing into the proper space. As a result, the temperature in that space was not adequately controlled. An in-line exhaust fan had to be added to the transfer system at the front of the building and ducted to the dining areas to balance the system. The existing return air ductwork was replaced with larger ducts to allow greater flow of return air to the AHU. The supply fan motor was increased from 10 HP to 15 HP to boost the required flow. A new 60-ton chiller replaced the existing DX unit located outside the mechanical room.
The most challenging aspect of this project was to convert the existing system over during regular dining hours. This required our field technicians to take special care of their work area while on this project. The dining hall manager was very pleased with the quality of work and the clean work environment.
Project Title: Non Potable Water Irrigation System Repairs – Naval Postgraduate
School
Location: Naval Postgraduate School – Monterey, California

Scope of this project included the conversion of the potable water to non potable water irrigation system. We also constructed a new irrigation system to service Spanagel Hall, Herman Hall and Building 259 and 260. Supplied to the job for the irrigation systems were connections to the main line, piping, sprinkler heads, controllers and necessary electrical wiring for the controllers. Also, part of the scope of work was to retrofit the existing irrigation system at the baseball field for better irrigation coverage. Incidental work performed in support of the project was patching road crossing, excavating, backfill and sod.
Project Title: Repair/Replace Maintenance Hanger Roof at Mather
Location: Mather Air Force Base Mather, California
Contracting Agency: California Army National Guard and USACE Sacramento
We removed the high bay metal roofing panels and replaced with new ones. The low bay at the north and south end was converted to a modified Bitumen Roofing system similar to the northwest wing since it was proven to do well with time and provided flexibility with roof penetrations and repairs. A more economic HVAC system was also installed for cost savings to the Owner. |
